RCPADZ

MY STATUS PAGE
RCPadz is the social networking area of the allmyrc website. Here you will find the user profiles, user settings and details, as well as your blog, gallery, mailbox and more. Think of it as your personal pad. In this section Im going to go over how to use all of the functions you get with your user profile.
When you log in from the main page, you are taken to your My Status page within RCPadz. This is basically like twitter/facebook in that you can leave messages about what you are up to for only your friends to see. This is a good way to keep in touch, and see what everyone is up to. To post a new status, simple click edit as shown on the right. This will open the text box for you to update your status.
You will also find that this page is your personal hub to whats been going on. With feeds for new messages, friend requests, updated forums and comments. There is also a site news feed below messages that lets you know whats going on with the site.
SETTINGS

Once you are in the RC- Padz area you will find navigation tabs running along the top of the page under the Section logo. Hovering over the settings tab will engage a drop down menu with all the areas in settings being displayed.
Edit Signature
This is the first selection in the drop down, as well as the page displayed when clicking settings from the main drop down at the top of the page. On this page you can edit your signature that is diplayed in forum posts and private messages.
Email & Password
This is where you can change account email addresses, as well as your password.
Edit Options
This is where you can change all of your account settings, such as message options, forum options, and account options.
Ignore List
This is the list of users you have chosen to ignore.
Details
This is the area where you can change what is displayed on your public profile. Such as R/C Interests, about me, and other interests.
Profile Picture
This is where you upload your avatar/profile picture that is displayed throughout the site.
MESSAGES

This is your private message center for the website. By hovering over the messages tab a drop down will appear. There are 3 choices, Inbox, Sent, Compose.
Deleting Private Messages

When you are in your Inbox there are check boxes on the far right side of each of your messages. By checking the messages you want to remove and going to the bottom right of the

page you will find a drop down with options to delete, move, mark as read, mark as unread and more. Select Delete from the selections and press go, and all selected messages will be deleted.
****Once you delete messages they are gone, if you want to archive messages you can create another folder to store them in.
Creating a new Folder:

From anywhere in the messages area of RCPadz, look at the box containing the message storage limit. Below the Jump To Folder you will find a link to Add A new Folder. Clear here to take you to that page.
User Media Galleries:

Each user of Allmyrc.com gets their own photo and video galleries free of charge. To access these galleries click on the rcpadz drop down found at the top of the page, you will see My Videos and My Photos in the list, chose the one you wish to upload/edit.
You can also use the tabs in RCPadz to access the gallery. By hovering your mouse over the My Gallery grey tab, you will notice a drop down with the same selections.

Uploading Photos and Videos:

The process is the same for both, once in the gallery click the Upload Video/ Manage Albums button, which will take you to the upload area.
Video Uploads:

In the video upload area click upload to start the process. You are able to upload more than one file at a time by holding down ctrl or shift and selecting all files you want. Once the files are selected a progress bar for each video will be displayed and once the completed you will be promted to input information about each file.
Photo Uploads:

Uploading photos is basically the same, however there is one added step. In the Photo albums you have the option of creating albums for better photo organization. You can create a new album by clicking Add new Album, and once you filled in all the information it will display below with the rest of photo albums.
The next step would be to add images to the albums you have/ have created. By clicking the green plus mark to the right of the album title, you will be taken to an upload area much like video uploads. Clicking upload will let you select multiple files from your desktop, which will be followed by a progress screen and then an area to input information about each photo.
