I have just completed my first full on heli build. The vision 50 ultimate was easy to assemble and flies like a champ. This heli is the one i moved up from my raptor 30 v1.I installed a extended main shaft and a third bearing block and it has improved the stability greatly.I know alot of people have talked badly of this model.I for one love it.If anyone has any feed back let me know. Thanks robert.I am a newb to the hobby and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi There! Im an Avid ElyQ Guy
![]() I mainly fly the Vision 50 Competition, But have also owned the Ultimate V1 and V2, Its a great flying helicopter isnt it? But, like any helicopter it does have its issues! Now, Im guessing that you have the v2 Ultimate? The main thing you will want to replace is the Linkages, these have been reported to break on a number of ElyQ Helicopters, I advise getting the Ball Link v2.00's these are a new mold are thicker and stronger - i myself have not had any issues with them so far. Also, The main gear has some issues with stripping, but this can be fixed by running the gear mesh as tight as possible, (it will bed in over time) there is a new gear being designed as i write this post that is being made from a diffrent meterial. You will also want to make sure that you properly grease the Autohub since it can lockup at times (i never really had an issue) Also the Tail Pitch fork snapped on earlier batches causing you to loose tail authority, but this has been fixed, and i have not heard any other reported issues on this. Now, Depending on your opinion you may want to change the tail fin, i found it very flexible for my liking and would tail sc**** during autos etc, The Raptor Carbon is a direct replacement to this, I think there the most issues coverd... Seems quite a bit i know, but its not that bad at all really! if you have any issues just give me a shout on here and ile glady help you out! -Callum |

Thanks for replying to my thread.I have replaced all ball links due to one poping off in mid flight!I managed to only break the main blades on that crash.I do have the v2 version.I am trying to upload my pic and the uploader says my pic is to big.How do i get around that? Thanks robert!I real would like to have the comp version, just have to much invested in the two i have.Good to hear positive about elyq helis.I think they are down talked because the big companies and sponsors are scared the ely will surpass them in competion.
