My Drs appointment is finally over this morning and I can eat again. Hopefully I can get to the field tomorrow and get in a couple of flights. I really haven't flown anything except the micro since the NATS and I beginning to go through withdrawal.
Wow, the views on revising the AMA Class rules are coming in hot and heavy and there is considerable disagreement about what they want or even IF they want change. All I can do is finish the proposal and submit it, what happens after that is out...

My siding is done, my deck is done, I had 4 diseased trees removed, Painting is nearly complete and the stucco repair guy is coming this morning. $25,000 later and the house is almost done. Now all I need is a new roof and landscaping.

For the first time in a week, I rode out to the flying field on Sunday afternoon. The field was actually crowded mostly with heli flyers. I picked up a Heli-Max Novus CP 125, a little micro-heli, at the IRCHA Jamboree and had hovered it in my front yard but never really flown it so while the weather was calm, I decided to try it.

I started working on the EX-2 again yesterday while the pressure washing guys were here and all of a sudden, the power goes off and I'm sitting in the dark. The guy taped up the exterior outlet with duct tape and the hit it with the hose and the GFCI outlets popped the breaker and would not reset for several hours so I lost all morning. I started looking for my EX-2 manual which had been on the table beside my computer, and it was gone. Apparently my wife has put it ..........somewhere.............

Well, I am now officially retired as everyone else has gone back to work and I'm out and about trying to get my house fixed up. Both of my NATS models are fine and working well (at least when I left Muncie) so I want to get the EX2 back flying and into the Blackshark fuselage so I can begin slowly to learn F3C with it. I also want to rebuild my nitro model and have at least one because the flight time is so much longer.
I made it through the NATS with only two sets of batteries and a generator...
